A message from Veronica Barnes (Your OPA Conductor for Founders’Day).

Calling all OPA singers, whether Soprano or Alto – or “I don’t know what I am!”

Now is your chance to sing in the Choir at the next Alumnae Founders’ Day Service in September.

Just three pieces – nothing complicated (honest):

Introit: Lift Thine Eyes – Mendelssohn

Anthem: The Lord Bless You and Keep You – Rutter (the two part version for upper voices)

Seven-fold Amen – Trad.

All music provided.

Folders not required.

Details:

Meet in the Minster at 11.50am

Rehearsal 12-1.15pm. Eat own packed lunch.

Service 2-2.50pm

Dress: Smart (not black – it’s too sombre for our happy day).

Please reply to me at the OPA email address and a link to the music will be forwarded to you so you may have your own personal rehearsal before the day if you wish.

We had a wonderful choir last  September – let’s keep the tradition going of excellent singing from the former pupils of The Old Palace School.
